The “Homesteader”, deriving its name from that very lifestyle, meets the need with comfort, versatility and style.

A sling style holster with anti-sway straps is no stranger to a volunteer firefighter. The “Homesteader” gives a familiar feeling to carrying communication radios on the scene. Accompanied with the ability to don on and off quickly, volunteers can carry without the nuisance of unholstering a firearm and wearing an empty holster under gear every time a call comes in.

Due to higher initial cost for its locally outsourced and handmade quality, we felt it needed to be universal. The “Homesteader” is completely interchangeable with all our leather holster line. Simply choose the holster for every model you wish and proudly wear it on your new “Homesteader” sling. Currently we have two universal holster options available with plans to add more as well as accessories.
The Homesteader Features
The Homesteader is a handmade, top grain leather, sling style holster made of Oil Tanned leather and lined with Veg Tan. It’s equipped with extra bullet loops on the sling and anti-sway straps that clip from the sewn in D-rings to the pant belt loops or belt keepers. The support strap is reinforced to take the weight of your firearm, allowing it to naturally form to the body and not lean outwards from the weight. The best feature being the Homesteader’s ability to be interchangeable with other holsters of our leather line. This makes the Homesteader a universal carry option for multiple models. Currently comes in multiple size slings and multiple bullet diameter options with optional color choices with custom orders. The Homesteader also has two universal holster options, Single action cowboy or Semi Auto. Need a cross draw style sling? No problem. Simply turn the sling around to the opposite side. It doubles up as a cross draw too!
